The smell of fresh baked goods offers a nostalgic sense of comfort that draws me back to the days of watching my mother in the kitchen creating heartfelt bakes filled with love, and lots of butter.
As I grew older I was able to take the whisk into my own hands and experience the highs and lows of learning the sacred trade myself. With baking trial – and especially error – is just part of the process. It teaches you patience and how to keep your cool under pressure. To me a failed bake doesn’t mean anything more than an opportunity to investigate the problem and create a solution – the hardest bakes are the most satisfying to finally achieve.
I fell in love with the magic of transforming simple ingredients into something special, and that curiosity has only grown with me. What began as a childhood hobby has become an endless pursuit of the perfect recipe. I love the process of experimenting, tweaking, and reworking every detail until the flavors, textures, and little finishing touches are just right.
Starting my own baking business as a teenager is my way of turning that lifelong passion into something of my own, one batch at a time.
